They do not do a thorough job explaining the wellness program plan. I have reached out to my mother's bank and the BBB.
My mother and I went in April to receive a massage. She was out before I got out and they sold her something but not explaining it in full detail. Yesterday I found out they debited her account $210 in August and $70 this month. Yes we were there in April and why debit her account In August. My mother and I have not been since April. I jumped on this right away as soon as I found out.
You can’t speak to the manager. They are never available.

If you are getting a massage here just get that. Don't sign up for anything else.

Just glancing at the reviews, this place is obviously poorly managed, and that was also pretty apparent on my first visit. However, My therapist TIFF was awesome so I did attempt to have an additional appointment with her. That second visit turned out to be so wildly unprofessional, to the point of being insulting, I ended up just leaving.
It's baffling that with all those people working the front desk they can't figure out how to effectively manage something so simple.

Never to sign up with them EVER again. A year contract and once contract ended, you have to email for cancellation. Waited 2 weeks before you get a respond. Very unprofessional. I’m surprised they’re still in business. Not to mention you get new therapists each time and it’s horrible!
Over all poor management.

1. The couples room wasn't set up when we arrived - Fine simple mistake, no big deal.

2. When I wanted to add on to the service right before we went in the room the masseuses seemed annoyed that the front desk didn't offer additional services or set that up before we were sent back. So we had to go back to the front desk and request the add on aroma therapy.

my daughter and I decided to give the membership a try - Gave them my debit card and both of our ID's to set it all up.

3. Then I received an email that I had a missed appointment that I never made in the first place.

4. Received a phone call 2 days later that my information was "shredded by mistake" Asked me to email pictures of our Id's via email. With all the fraud going on this is a HUGE mistake and the deal breaker for me.

So disappointing. They seem to be very scattered and unorganized.

As for the massages - It was our first time every getting one so we have nothing to compare it to. ***I can update my review later after we go somewhere else.

Massage therapists are GREAT! This is not about them.

Jennifer, the manager, is not responsive when it comes to detailed questions regarding your membership plan, payment, and freezing it. It seems from some reviews below that people have said the same.

I was scheduled for a chemical peel today and was looking forward to possibly signing up for membership after I had experienced a few monthly facials. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service from pretty much the moment I walked in. I ended up leaving without my treatment. I felt unseen, unheard, and did not feel valued as a customer. I am still wanting a chemical peel, but it will not be with Massage Envy.

The customer service from the front desk and manager, Jennifer, has been some of the worst service I've received at a place like this. I initially called to cancel my membership (for financial reason, not because the massage therapists were bad - they've been great!) and was told to email the manager. The front desk also told that there was a "freeze" that I could put on my account for up to 6-months with no payment and I could use my remaining credits during that time. This option sounded most appealing so I emailed the manager to get this set up. In doing so, the contract she sent back said that I wouldn't be able to use my credits during an account "freeze". We then had a phone call where she explained that the front desk gave the incorrect information - there were 2 freeze options, one which allowed me to use my use my credits with a $10/month charge and another that just froze the account for several months at no cost but with no ability to use credits. I was also told by the manager that I was not yet eligible to cancel my membership and that the max freeze was 3 months only.

It's now been 10 days since I have heard from the manager with next steps. Jennifer ensured me that my next monthly payment would not go through because we were working on all of this, but it did.

I have emailed numerous times, called and gotten no assistance. It feels like I'm running into dead ends at every turn with their customer service and getting no response is simply unacceptable.

If you're looking to go in for a one-off service, their massage therapists are great (especially deep tissue). But, if you're looking at a membership, proceed with caution as you'll likely never get to speak with the appropriate leadership to make changes to your account.

I recently signed up for a membership and felt the front desk staff was friendly, thorough and able to answer all of my questions. The massage therapist asked what areas I wanted to focus on and she did a great job addressing those areas. When I asked for more pressure she did that as well. Looking forward to my monthly massage here!
